Fucheng Zheng is a PhD Researcher at Auckland University of Technology whose research focuses on building computer vision systems that operate reliably in real-world, real-time environments, with expertise in tracking, camera geometry, and end-to-end AI engineering.
As Hub Manager of the AUT–CNBM Intelligent Green Technology Research Hub, Fucheng acts as the bridge between research ideas and practical delivery. He works closely with AUT researchers and CNBM industry teams to translate advanced AI and computer vision methods into deployable systems that support ECAV charging, routing, and fleet monitoring. By leading the development of perception, digital-twin, and data pipelines, he helps turn research outcomes into scalable, industry-ready solutions, ensuring the Hub's innovations move smoothly from the lab to real-world impact.
